Week 2

Week 2 of the Dover Invitation Darts League and we start the round up in division 3.

Three sides have started the season with two wins, the Eagle A, Sportsman and the Red Lion.

The new Lion side beat the DSAA Hope 6-3, the Eagle A beat there pub rivals the Eagle C 8-1. This was the same scoreline as the Sportsman won by the same margin against the Phoenix Rising.

DSAA Misfits came from 4-2 down to beat the Golden Eagle 5-4 and in the last game of the night in the division the Phoenix C beat the Northern Diamonds 6-3.

Jack Arrowsmith was the first person in division three to hit a 180, unsurprising with that name really!

Two sides in division two are uneaten, the DSAA A who beat the Endeavour Spartans 7-2 and the Real Diamonds who beat the Boars Head A 5-4.

The battle of the Crown was won by the A side 6-3 against the B side, Tilmanstone won by the same margin against the Diamond C.

The Dewdrop picked up teir first win of the season, they beat the Bull Dogs 5-4.

180s on the night in division two were hit by Tom Sullivan, Karl Fagg and Graham Hicklin.

In division one, the Hairy Bull, Whitfield Cups and the Diamond all have won their opening two games.

The Cups beat the Hairy Crown 9-0, the Hairy Bull beat the Admiral Cups 7-2 and the Diamond beat the Phoenix PD 5-4.

The Old Endeavour bounced back from last weeks defeat to beat the Bull A 6-3 and finally the DWMC Maddogs won 5-4 against the Three Cups.

180s in division one were from Ash Battie, Luca Scott, Matt Boxall, Dan O’neill, Mick Law, Dave Heath, Carl Booker, Tommy Armstrong and birthday boy Brian Pearce. Id be happy to be hitting 180s when I am 77.

Ton plus checkouts were from Morgan Scott with 120 and a 110 from Louis Pearson.
