I start this week by reminding all players off the league of the general darting etiquette. Please can you all make sure that your opponent is clear of the oche before you begin your throw. Also as a mark of respect please can we all refrain from shouting out whilst in close proximity of the thrower.
Can i also say that some of you would have noticed some changes in the table especially to divison 3, this is due to some results being wrong and some that are missing that we are currently fixing, please bear with us whilst this is carried out, many thanks.
Division Three
Crown B beat the DSAA Misfits 9-0, a 180 from Micheal Barnes from the Crown, Sportsman won against the DSAA C 8-1 with Macca from the sportsman finishing on 94. Northern Diamonds lost to the DSAA Hope 5-4. Old Endeavour were the winners in their game against the Eagle winning 7-2 with Nathan Banks finishing on 80 with two darts. Lastly in this division we saw the Phoenix Rising beat the Golden Eagle 5-4, special congratulations to Micky from the Rising winning his first singles game, Lets hope its the start of many more for you.
Division Two
Hairy Crown won 6-3 against the Dewdrop with a 180 from Dan O’niell from the Crown. Bulldogs lost 6-3 to the DSAA A. DWMC Maddogs beat the Phoenix C 5-4. Lastly sees the Diamond C wining 6-3 in their match against Boars Head A.
Division one
Old Endeavour won 8-1 against DWMC A, Ryan Lucas hit 2 180’s for the Old E, Bull A also won 8-1 against the Crown Arrows. Last match to win 8-1 was the Diamond v Three cups, with the diamond being victorious. 180s for Ben Baldwin, Wayne Venes of the Diamond and Mike Matthews from the Cups. Phoenix PD beat the Real Diamonds 7-2, 180s for Jimmy Yarwood and Kerry Burdett from the Diamond. Lastly we saw another win for the Admiral Cups this time they beat the Whitfield club 5-4, 180 for Morgan Scott form the Whitfield Club and a 116 outshot from Louis Pearson of the Cups.
