Week 16

This week in division three saw The Three Cups keep up there 100% record with a 6-3 win over the Northern Diamond, Mike Mathews of the cups hit a 120 checkout. The Carriers B doing the double over Phoenix St Paul’s this time with a 6-3 win. The Nelson beat The Sportsman 6-3 keeping them third in the table 8 points behind 2nd. Old Endeavour won a close game beating the DSAA C 5-4.
Phoenix Rising lost 7-2 against the Admiral Harvey B, Steven Reeves of the Harvey with a 103 out-shot. The lose means the Rising are now 4 points away from safety. Bull B showed the class and age with a 6-3 win over pub rivals the Bull Dogs. The Crown & Sceptre beat Phoenix C 7-2. Tilmanstone lost 5-4 to the Boars Head B. The Boars Head C won 7-2 over the Three Cups B. The Boars Head A couldn’t make it a clean sweep in division 2 for the pub losing 7-2 against the DSAA Hope.
The Diamond’s 6-3 win this week against the Boars Head Arrows keeps them joint second but Dave Pollock and Blake Manton hitting a 180 a piece and Darren Webb checking out on 102 all for the Arrows, made it not all about the Diamond. The Bull A had a good 8-1 win against the Hairy Bull with Andy Howell hit a 180 for the Bull A. The win keeps them also joint second behind the league leaders the Old Endeavour who also won 8-1 against DWMC B, Al Terry hit a 180 for the Old E. A good night for the DSAA Oast a 7-2 win over the Real Diamond. Steve Roberts, Tom Armstrong hitting a 180 each and Andy Smith checking out 108 all for the DSAA Oast. Louis Pearson-Whatmore hit his third 180 of the season but it was in vain as his side the Admiral Harvey lost 6-3 to the DWMC A. The last game of the week saw the Crown Mad Dogs beat the Diamond C 7-2, keeping The Diamond bottom of Division 1.

week 15

In Division two this week the Bull B had the highest result winning 9-0 against the Phoenix C, in the game Gordon Speakman and Macauley Bax both hit 180,s both play for the Bull, Crown and Sceptre beat the Boars Head B 7-2, Bull Dogs beat the Phoenix Rising 5-4, Boars Head A beat Admiral Harvey B in a close game going all the way to the end with the Boars Head claiming the fifth game, Doug Isaacs for the Harvey finished on 103, DSAA Hope beat the Three Cups B 6-3, Boars Head C won their game against Tilmanstone 6-3 with Andy Terry finishing on 115 for the Boars Head.

Division Three and the Northern Diamonds played the DSAA Wanderers and won 7-2, Eagle Drifters won against Nelson 5-4, Sportsman beat the Phoenix St Pauls 5-4, Carriers B came out top against the Old Endeavour winning 8-1, Three Cups kept their undefeated run with their win against Carriers A 6-3.

Division one saw every game have either a 180 hit or a high checkout.
Old Endeavour won their game against DSAA Oast 8-1 with Andy Smith and Tommy Armstrong hitting 180 each both for the DSAA, Hairy Bull beat the Real Diamonds 6-3 with Ryan Short and Paul Kermode both from the Bull hitting 180 each, The Diamond won 5-4 in their match against the Bull A with 180 scored for Wayne Venes for the Diamond and Lee Ware checked out on 149 for the Bull, Boars Head Arrows won against Diamond C 7-2, Kev Thorpe checked out a 102 for the Diamond and Kyle Manton checked out 100 for the Boars Head, DWMC A beat the Crown Maddogs 6-3 Paul Morris checked out 102 for the Crown, DWMC B won against Admiral Harvey A 5-4 with John Ross hitting a 180 for the DWMC B.

week 14

I must start this weeks blog with an apology to the Hairy Bull and the DWMC B for missing them off last week it was a human error, i am sorry.

Division One saw two 9-0’s this week one of which was a pub derby, The Diamond taking the win against Real Diamond, Paul martin of the Diamond hit a 180. The other 9-0 game was Diamond C against the Bull A with the Bull being the winners. Boars Head Arrows beat the DWMC A 5-4 with Simon Scott of the DWMC hitting 180. Hairy Bull beat the Old Endeavour 7-2 Carl Booker from the Hairy hitting 180. Dsaa Oast lost 5-4 against DWMC B Steve Roberts hit a 180 for the DWMC. Admiral Harvey A beat  the Crown Maddogs 6-3.

Division Two Three Cups B lost 5-4 against the Admiral Harvey B. Boars Head A beat Bulldogs 5-4, Karl Shepherd finished on 106 for the Bulldogs and Roy Waymark hit a 171 in the game. Phoenix Rising were the winners of their pub derby beating Phoenix C 7-2. Bull B won 8-1 against Boars Head B. Crown and Sceptre lost 5-4 to Tilmanstone.  Boars Head C won against Dsaa Hope 6-3.

In Division Three we have a team that is still unbeaten and a team that won their first match. Old Endeavour are the team who won their first match of the season beating the Sportsman 5-4 and the team unbeaten is the Three Cups who beat the Dsaa Wanderer 8-1 with Billy Bristow hitting a 180 for the Cups. Phoenix St Pauls lost 6-3 to the Eagle Drifters with Richard Pitcher hitting a 180 for the Drifters. Northern Diamonds beat Nelson 7-2 and Carriers A won 6-3 against Dsaa C.
