Week 6

A brief blog round up this week, I honestly dont have a clue where the week has gone.

In division one the biggest winners on the night were the Hairy Bull, 8-1 against the Real Diamond with a second 180 of the season for Keith Montgomery. They are still second, but have a game in hand against the Diamond who are top, they beat the DWMC 5-4 in another really good game of darts. Jim Penman hit a 180 for the Diamond.

Tony Selby hit a 180 for the Bull A, however they lost for the third time season, this was a 5-4 defeat against the Old Endeavour. There is a stronger Phoenix PD side this year, a couple of players added to last years solid squad. One of those is Steve Roberts who checked out on in their 5-4 win against the Phoenix Cups.

Morgan Scott hit his second 180 of the season, his Whitfield Club side lost 6-3 against the Crown Arrows.

In division two the Hairy Crown beat the Boars Head A 7-2, meaning the DWMC Maddogs are four points clear at the top of the table playing the same amount of games as the 2nd and 3rd placed sides.

The fourth placed Diamond C do have a game in hand, and they are also four points behind. They beat Tilmanstone 7-2 this week.

The Crown A picked up their first win of the season, they beat the DSAA A 5-4 and the Dewdrop sit third in table after another win, they beat the Phoenix C 6-3.

In division three the clear leaders at the moment are the Crown B and the Northern Diamonds. Both are unbeaten, the Crown won 9-0 against the Eagle C and the Northern Diamonds beat the Sportsman 6-3.

The DSAA C won for the first time this season, they beat the Golden Eagle 5-4, the Eagle are the only side in the division looking for a win.

The Phoenix Rising are moving up the table, they beat the DSAA Misfits 6-3 and have started the season with three wins and three loses.

Week 5

We will start this weeks round up in division three, with the first 180 of the season hit in the division. It was from young Luca Scott of the Phoenix Rising in their 6-3 win against the Eagle. That was their second win on the bounce as well as they start to climb the table.

Biggest winners on the night were the Crown B, they beat the DSAA C 9-0 and remain unbeaten and top of the division. The DSAA Misfits were 8-1 winners against the Golden Eagle, who like the DSAA C are still looking for their first win of the season.

The Old Endeavour had a cracking 6-3 win against the DSAA Hope, a result that puts them third in the table just behind the Northern Diamonds.

Finally in division three the Sportsman were 7-2 winners against the Eagle C.

In division two we now clear leaders, the DWMC Maddogs have won their first five games of the season, this week they won 7-2 against the Crown A who ares till searching for their first win of the season.

The Boars Head A lost for the first time this season, they lost 5-4 against Tilmanstone who were recording their first win of the campaign.

The DSAA A were 6-3 winners against the Phoenix C and finally the the Dewdrop had a super 7-2 win against the Bull Dogs.

In to division one. After a week off the Hairy Bull came back to the oche with a tough game against the Bull A, they won 5-4 with 180s from Carl Booker and Ryan Short. They re still unbeaten as are the Diamond, who beat the Admiral Cups 7-2. Wayne Anderton of the Admiral hit a 180.

The Crown Arrows beat the Real Diamonds 7-2, Kev Downs of the Real checked out on 106. Martin Sammonds of the DWMC and Marc Thorp of the Tree Cups both hit 180s during the Workies 6-3 win.

Martin McNeill hit a 180 for the Phoenix PD hit a 180 in their 5-4 win against the Whitfield Club.

Week 4

Already we are a month in to the new season of darts, and we have some early pacesetter in all the leagues.

In division three, the Crown B and the Northern Diamonds are unbeaten, winning four out of four.  This week the Crown won 8-1 against the DSAA Misfits and the Northern Diamonds beat the previously unbeaten Hope 5-4.

Biggest winners on the night were the Sportsmen, they beat the DSAA C 9-0, the Old Endeavour sneaked a 5-4 against the Eagle with Kaitlyn Hilton winning that all important last game of the match/  In the final game of the night in division three the Phoenix Rising picked up their first win of the campaign, a 5-4 win against the Golden Eagle.

Top of division two are the DWMC Maddogs, they have won four on bounce but they are chased by the Boars HEad A who have won all three of their opening games.

This week the Maddogs beat won 6-3 against the Phoenix C and the Boars Head A beat the previously unbeaten Diamond C 5-4.  Roy Waymark won the last game in this match, Dave Buddle checked out on 119 and Colin Townley hit a 180.

Doug Isaacs of the DSAA A checked out on 132, however his side lost 5-4 to the Bull Dogs.  The Hairy Crown came from 4-0 down to beat the Dewdrop 5-4 to round of division two.

Division one, The Diamond have started with four wins out of four chased by the Hairy Bull with three out of three, they had a bye this week.

The Diamond won 8-1 against the Three Cups, or as we like to call it 8 Joe West.  There was a 120 checkout for Darren Hyder and a ton for Ben Baldwin.  8-1 to be fair was flattering to the Diamond with good darts all round.

The Crown Arrows beat thew Bull A 5-4, this was the first defeat of the season for the Bull and the firs twin of the season for the Arrows.  James Manton of the Arrows hit a 101 checkout.

Jason Davey of the Phoenix PD hit a 180 in his sides 6-3 win against the Real Diamonds and the Old Endeavour were on fine finishing form in their 5-4 win against the DWMC.  Ryan Lucas hit a 113 and John Hughes hit a 114.  John Ross of the workies hit a 180.

Finally, the Whitfield Club tasted victory for the first time, they beat the Admiral Cups 5-4.
