Week 7 – 5 180s in one match

The round seven of fixtures starts in division one, with a 6-3 win for the Boars Head Arrows against the leaders the Bull A.  The game was littered with quality darts and included three 180s for Lee Ware and two 180s for Kyle Manton.  Kyle also checked out on 112.

This result combined with Hairy Bull and Diamond wins means that they along with the Bull A are joint top.  The Hairy Bull beat the beat the Three Cups 6-3, Pappa G checked out on 130.   No 180s in that game but Luke Blythe did hit a 177.  The Diamond beat the Phoenix Maddogs 9-0, Jim Penman hit a 180.

The DWMC A beat the Boars Head C 8-1 and Andrew Smith of the DWMC Oast hit a 180 in their 8-1 win against the Real Diamonds.

In the final game of division one the Old Endeavour were also 8-1 winners, they beat the Crown Sceptre, Sean Lloyd of the Old E checked out on 110.  

In division two the Bull Dogs are still top of the shop, they beat the Boars Head A 5-4.  No 180s, beat a maximum on the 19s for Terry Mcconnell.

Second placed Boars Head B lost 5-4 to the DSAA Hope, and it was three wins on the bounce for the Admiral Cups, they beat Tilmanstone 7-2.  Dave Jones of Tilmanstone hit a 180.

The Dewdrop Harvey followed last weeks win with their second win of the season with a 5-4 win against the Hairy Crown.  Finally the DSAA won 7-2 against the Northern Diamonds, again no 180s but a 171 for Baz Hinton.

There are four sides all on 10 points in division three, Whitfield Club, Carriers, Sportsman and the Phoenix C.  In the games this week the Carriers were biggest winners, 9-0 against the DSAA C.  The Sportsman won 6-3 against the Old Endeavour and the Phoenix C by the same margin against the Eagle.

The Nelson won 6-3 against the DSAA Misfits and the finally the phoenix Rising won 6-3 against the Crown Smiffys.  Highlights from division three on the night were 180s from Kai West of the Phoenix Rising, Kevin Down of the Sportsman a 70 checkout for Samantha Arbon Davis, two darts, 20 followed by the bull.

Week 6

The weeks seem to by flying past, and here is your roundup from week 6.

In division three the Whitfield Club tasted defeat for the first time this season, they lost 5-4 against the Phoenix Rising. This result means that the Sportsman, Phoenix C and the Carriers A are all two points behind the Whitfield Club, but have a game in hand.

In this weeks round of fixtures the Phoenix C were 8-1 winners against the Old Endeavour, Carriers 6-3 winners against the Nelson and the Sportsman had a bye this week.

The DSAA Misfits picked up their first win of the season, they won 5-4 against the Crown Smiffys and the Eagle had a 7-2 win against the DSAA C. Mel Walker of the DSAA C checked out on 150, great darts Mel!

In division two Bull Dogs and the Boars Head B sit top of the table. This week Bull Dogs won 5-4 against Tilmanstone and the Boars Head B beat the Northern Diamonds 6-3.

Admiral Cups were the biggest winners on the night, they won 8-1 against the DSAA A, Wayne Anderton hit a 180 for the Admiral’s.

Dean Clemence of the Diamond C checked out on 112 for the Diamond C, they won 6-3 against the DSAA Hope. In the final game from division two the Dewdrop Harvey picked up their first win of the season,t hey beat the Boars Head A 6-3.

In division one The Boars Head C and the Real Diamonds faced each other, neither had won a game this season. They Boars Head ran out comfortable 8-1 winners.

The Bull A were also 180 winners, they beat the Crown & Sceptre 8-1, Graham Hicklin of the Crown hit a 180. In the Three Cups 8-1 win against the Phoenix Maddogs the only loser for the Cups was Jamie Breeden. If i’d known who was the only winner for the Maddogs Jamie I wouldn’t have mentioned you!

Sean Lloyd of the Old Endeavour hit a 180 and team mate Ray Bourne hit a maximum on the 19s during their sides 7-2 win against the DWMC Oast. Jamie Mears of the Oast checked out on 102.

There were no 180s or big checkouts in the Hairy Bulls 6-3 win against the Boars Head Arrows, the Hairy site second behind the Bull A, joint with the Diamond. The Diamond were 6-3 winners against the DWMC, Wayne Venes hit his 4th 180 of the season for the Diamond. Sean Hurrell of the DWMC hit a 180 and a 106 checkout.

Week 5

Week five of the league campaign, and this week a couple of 100% winning records were ended.

Division two the Diamond C beat the Northern Diamonds 5-4, the first defeat for the Northern since being promoting to division two. The Boars Head B superb winning start was also ended, the Admiral Cups beat them 6-3. Wayne Anderton of the Admiral Cups hit a 180 in the match.

Biggest winners on the night were the Hairy Crown, they beat the DSAA Hope 7-2. The BUll Dogs moved to the top of the table, they beat the DSAA A 6-3.

Final game of division two is the Boars Head A 5-4 win away to the Tilmanstone Welfare Club.

In division three top of the shop is the Whitfield Club, they beat the DSAA Misfits 7-2, Matt Boxal checked out on 117. Second placed Sportsman won 7-2 against the Phoenix C, this was the first defeat this season for the Phoenix.

The Carriers were 4-2 down against the Crown Misfits, won the last three games of the match to seal a 5-4 victory. Finally the Old Endeavour beat the DSAA C 7-2.

In division one the leaders and still unbeaten Bull A beat the DWMC Oast 5-4. There was a 180 for Tommy Armstrong and a 110 checkout for Ben Tester.

Second placed Hairy Bull won 8-1 against the Phoenix Maddogs, third placed Boars Head Arrows won 7-2 against the Crown & Sceptre. There were three 180s for the Diamond during there 9-0 win against the Real Diamonds, one a piece for Darren Hyder, Wayne Venes and Brian Pearce.

Ryan Lucas of the Old Endeavour hit a 180 and his skipper Al Terry checked out on 127 in their 7-2 win against the Boars Head C and the DWMC beat the Three Cups 7-2.
