It is the half way point of the Dover Invitation Darts League, and we will start are round up in division three.
You may remember that I said last week the 100% of one of the division three sides had to go, but in-fact the game was played earlier in the week due to one of the sides unable to play on that Friday. Its great to see that despite them being the top two sides, both unbeaten, that they mutually agreed to play at an earlier date.
The Eagle A were the winners of this match against the the Red Lion, great sportsmanship guys.
The Eagle C beat the Golden Eagle 7-2, this means the Golden Eagle are the only side still looking for a win this season.
Third placed Sportsman lost 5-4 against the Northern Diamonds, the Phoenix Rising had a 6-3 win against the DSAA Misfits and finally the DSAA Hope won by the same margin against the Phoenix C.
One of my favourite lines added to a facebook post this week for the results was “A massive congratulations to Ian Maxwell on busting 180, it was Hilarious!
In division two the Real Diamonds are out half way point leaders. They won the Diamond derby 7-2. The match included a 180 for Mags Sullivan and a 110 checkout for Dean Clemence.
Second is the Boars Head A, they beat the DSAA A 5-4, the same scoreline Tilmanstone recorded against the Dewdrop. Antony Jones hit a 105 checkout in this one.
Not a great night for the Crown sides, the A side lost 5-4 against the Endeavour Spartans and the B side lost 7-2 against the Bull Dogs, the Dogs are now up to third in the table.
In division one the Hairy Bull beat the Whitfield Cups 5-4, the match included five 180s from the Cups. They were hot by Morgan Scott, Luca Scott, Paul Perkins, Darren Everett and Matt Boxall.
The Diamond beat the DWMC Maddogs, 6-3. 180s in this match from Ben Baldwin and Jim Penman, a 121 checkout from Darren Hyder and a 116 from Brian Pearce.
